Question Of The Week

When I'm having a particularly bad day at work (like today) my supervisor whips out her "If: Question of Life Book."

Today's question.

If you could teach your children one life lesson, what would it be?

Let me know your thoughts.

That's all I got for yall today. My brain is functioning off of 3hrs of sleep.

But I think this is a fun idea. I think I'll do a question each week. Whatcha think?

  1. If I could teach my children ONE thing.. it would be... that they are each valuable, lovable and important. Just because.

  2. To be kind :) No matter what others do or say! Mike says his is "Never turn your back on family." I love you!

  3. Life isn't always fair-- but love anyway.

  4. Be honest. To others but most importantly to yourself.

And if I could pick a second, I would copy TKW.

  5. Compassion...and then I'd send them over to TKW for her lesson. I never was good at that.

  6. In an echo of Lindy's,... I would teach my kids to be true to themselves. Listening to your inner voice -- and believing in it -- is so incredibly valuable.

  7. Trust your gut. I think God gave us instincts for a reason and I know whenever I ignore my gut in order to blend in or keep the peace, there is always a bad outcome. Some things are worth rocking the boat.
