Random thoughts on my birthday

I can't believe I'm 27 already.

I realized I have shared 9 birthdays with my husband...it makes me feel old.

I am not where I planned to be at this age (30 before 30 blog list soon to follow)

I AM ALMOST 30!!!

I've always loved birthdays. It's an excuse to party and have a selfish day.

My husband is not the "romantic" type so I don't expect much from him.

I have been trying to create a space for myself in the house but have been waiting for money to be right to purchase myself a futon and other room items to create a study/scrapbooking/leave-me-the-hell-alone room.

For the past few months it has been storage for seasonal clothes and boxes and for whatever I need to hide before company comes over.

I received the greatest present ever and not because of how much it cost but because of the thought and love that went into it.

I love my girlfriend for doing the cupcake thing and my other close friends for making me feel special.

Here's to a hopefully productive year.
